Our client, a large prominent and well reputed multinational heavy-engineering company is seeking a Finance Director for their businesses encompassing the entire Middle East and Africa region. The Company's businesses are divided into distinct Strategic Business Units, each of them overseeing a particular category of engineering products.

Job Description

This is a leadership role with responsibilities for decision making outside the purview of finance. This would be in tandem with his core responsibilities of managing the Finance function with complete accountability for financial planning, management reporting and analysis. As a key member of the entity Leadership Team this role supports the development of the business strategy, tracking and communicating the Annual Operating plan, partnering with businesses to help manage financial risk and manage Internal Controls and lead Governance initiatives. The role holder will continue to build a high performing finance organization in the region along with being a key contributor to the entity’s team building initiatives. The position demands the ability to work respectfully across cultures in a highly diverse work environment.

Candidate Profile:

Aged around 35 years, a CA/CPA with extensive experience of managing finance and the supply chain and negotiating with external business partners; Knowledge of US GAAP and SOXX compliance and controls is mandatory, the ability to communicate, with excellent negotiating skills are some fo the requisites that we seek.
