Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will oversee sales operations, and take on the following responsibilities: Build to full operation the sales distribution infrastructure within the three regions. Budget management -setting, tracking and reports. Recommend and be involved in the purchase of assets such as vans, trucks, cars, vending machines, refrigerators etc. Implement the sales strategy through a highly successful route management program. Ensure adequate coverage of the entire traditional trade whilst adhering to distribution schedules for key accounts. Train, develop and motivate a team of Merchandising and Sales Professionals.
Aged around 35 years, a background in FMCG distribution with strong background in sales operations management with emphasis in route management, delivery management and an excellent understanding of the principles of direct distribution and the pre-sell concept. He must be dynamic, an excellent builder of relationships, good business and commercial acumen, excellent analytical and number crunching skills and record of achievements in the GCC.
