Job Description

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, the Head of Talent Acquisition will oversee the strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives including management of the complete lifecycle recruitment process, candidate sourcing and assessment, hiring practices, and effective advertisement. Deliver high quality talent within established benchmarks for time-to-fill and cost-to-fill.

He/She will provide direction on the organization’s workforce planning functions such as organizational talent forecasting, internal talent pipeline. The Head of Talent Acquisition will work collaboratively with other senior leaders within the organization, as well as within the organization’s Human Resources to ensure a competitive position in attracting and retaining top talent.

Collaborates with Business Heads and their HR Managers to assess planned attrition, to forecast future recruitment needs and/or large scale expansion initiatives

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations/Business or a related field of study. MBA, an advanced degree in an HR and/or a related field or PHR/SPHR designation preferred. 12-15 years of experience with a LARGE, DIVERSIFIED Business Group in the MENA region. Strong business partnering skills and ability to create effective and productive work relationships. Possess a sense of urgency and action orientation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Leadership, organizational and project management skills. Flexible, creative and detail-oriented in ambiguous situations. Flexible and capable of providing leadership in a matrixed organizations. Possess a high level of accountability for results. Superior execution and planning skills. Proficient computer skills, including experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the proven ability to communicate effectively with C-Level Executives and a diverse, multicultural environment.
