Our client a huge diversified business conglomerate, with a well reputed brand name that covers the Middle East market. A surge in business and continued growth has necessitated the recruitment of a Head of Sales position for the Lighting business.

Job Description

The Incumbent will report to the General Manager of the business. The position will be in-charge of sales and to meet the sales targets as per the set objectives of the company.  Promote and Market all Lighting Products of our Client & associated Principles that include Commercial, Domestic, Architectural and Industrial Lighting luminaries in trade, projects and export segments. Lead the team for prestigious Industrial & Commercial projects in design, supply & commissioning and in the commercial sales to the distributors. Responsible for the accomplishment of sales targets & gross margins as per the objectives of the company. Develop new customers in trade, projects and export segments. Update the customers with new developments / products from time to time and to promote the same. Participate / visit lighting exhibitions in UAE.  Provide market intelligence reports to the management to help in effective decision making.

Candidate Profile

To qualify for this role, you must be an Electrical Engineer from a reputable University. MBA is an asset. Minimum 10 – 15 years relevant Sales & Marketing of Commercial, Domestic, Architectural and Industrial Lighting luminaries in trade, projects and export segments. Good exposure to various lighting suppliers from Europe and Far East. Valid UAE Driving License is a mandate.
