We are looking for a professional and qualified Arabic Speaking, Graduate Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for Business Development and will play a key role in the development and implementation of Company’s business development plan and providing input into strategic business growth and improvement decisions. The organisation is poised for a sustainable growth in coming years. Portfolio of business comprises of Residential, Hotel, Mixed used, Commercial and Industrial Projects.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for overall growth of MEP business in the UAE .The incumbent will play a key role in the development and implementation of business development plan and providing input into strategic business growth.

 

§         Prepare and present business development plan in line with the strategic objectives of the company.

§         Management and implementation of the approved business development plan of the company.

§         Develops and regularly updates database for clients and competitors.

§         Develops project leads in line with business plan and services offered by the company.

§         Provides strong and effective representation for the company at all times.

§         Identifies new clients and follow Key Account Management System for increased order bookings, improved customer relations and satisfaction.

  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities.

§       Attend select events providing networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars.

§         Strengthens relationships with the existing clients for repeat orders and improved service to the client.

§         Grows long-term business relationship with clients and capitalizes on partnership opportunities.

  • Identifies partnership opportunities with potential clients or project specific partners and capitalizes on "add-on" sales opportunities across MEP Project Sector.
  • Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships for lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
  • Communicates effectively with client.
  • Protects Company's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Achieves or exceeds order booking targets for carefully chosen projects with potentially healthy margins.
  • Closely work with the Estimation Team to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised through improved understanding of market trends and pricing levels.
  •  Closely liaise with Estimation Team for preparation and timely submission of tenders and provide accurate feedback on the submitted tenders.
  • Be a spoke person of the client in internal “Cross Function Team Meetings” and communicate any complaint or feedback received from clients.

 

 

  

 

 

 

Candidate Profile

Minimum of Graduate Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in estimation, marketing and negotiation of MEP business in the UAE. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). Hands-On experience in preparation and compilation of MEP bids/ tenders and up-to-date knowledge of prevailing prices and pricing levels. Results driven, business plan and report writing skills. Ability and flair to effectively and effortlessly communicate in Arabic Language Prove track record and first level business contacts with companies potential decision maker Ability to effectively communicate in Arabic & English. Ability to travel interstate, intrastate and internationally. Must be willing to travel as per the demands of the job. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Computer Literacy and proficiency in use of internet;social media; on-line business magazines for identification of new projects/or new Clients. Valid UAE driving licence. Preferred age between 26-35 years.
