Our client is a well reputed retail group in Dubai,  that wishes to appoint a retail professional who would lead the planning team by providing effective merchandise strategies, planning and in season management of assortments and inventory.

Job Description

Key  Responsibilities include merchandise, financial, strategic and assortment planning, ensuring the creation of merchandise plans for all departments/categories gained from merchandise analytics, ensuring effective in season management across the region, keeping abreast of the latest trends in merchandise planning, ensuring optimum inventory levels are maintained across concept and region, providing inputs on expected margins and other parameters for promotions within the product category, ensuring effective in season management through proper planning and proper people management through support, direction and mentoring.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have worked in the GCC for a few years with a well reputed retailer. The person should have knowledge of merchandise planning and analytics, knowledge of Oracle/SAP, DBA. This is a senior level appointment, so a commercially astute individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of the retail industry and a solid background in Merchandise Planning will suit this role.
