Job Description

The key objective of the role is to enhance Corporate Communications strategies and scorecard objectives and guidelines - towards external stakeholders (Media/Public Relations) and internal stakeholders (management and Staff) through various channels and platforms. To achieve this KRA, the selected candidate will be expected to develop Investor Relations strategies, objectives and support the department heads in this function. Regulate and advise management on all matters of corporate communication/ Press Office/Marketing-Advertising. Conduct PR Agency performance reviews in line with internal company policies and procedures. Improve, manage and report on corporate brand/image by developing and executing strategies that are intended to create and uphold a positive public image for the organization. Manage the Media relations and write press releases.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor / Master’s degree (ideally in Media Studies, Journalism, Public relations) with minimum 7 years’ experience gained in Advertising, Public Relation, corporate communication and Marketing. Must be bi-lingual - highly skilled in English & Arabic oral and written. Should have the skills to negotiate with suppliers (P.R agency, Events company and production houses) preferably experienced in writing press releases and proof reading (English & Arabic). Experience gained within a Bank or in handling financial services clients would be a distinct advantage. Some experience of handling Media events or client events coupled with Graphic Designing (Photo shop/ illustrator) skills would be beneficial. Needless to add, critical to success would be strong leadership, analytical and presentation skills.
