Our client is a leading FMCG company in the region. They are seeking a Sales Manager to ensure that budgeted volumes and absolute gross margin targets are achieved through the appointed distributor in the assigned market. The position will report to the Sales Director of the company.



Job Description

The scope of work includes supervising and assisting the distributors to increase the companies business and act as a co-ordinate between the company and the distributor to ensure KPI's and targeted orders and gross margins are met; constantly monitor the market to ensure RSP's are as per the agreed pricing strategy, merchandising guidelines are being follow. Develop a thorough understanding of every trade channel and keep a close watch on secondary sales and inventory and make recommendations; interact effectively with internal stakeholders and co-ordinate with trade marketing to ensure marketing strategies are executed to achieve desired targets; establish direct relationships with top 20 key customers; train distributor sales staff; verify all distributor claims and ensure proper procedures and records are in place for promotional claims.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have experience in a lead sales management role in an FMCG category for at least 4 years, distributor management experience for a minimum of 2-3 years, should possess good relations with modern trade customers and other key trade customers and should have a firm and confident personality to deal with distributors and internal stakeholders. Candidates must be able to fluently speak Arabic, is addition knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is desirable.
