Job Description

The candidate shall be responsible for coordinating and managing the development and production of all internal & external communications materials. In this capacity, he/she shall work closely with the institution’s senior management as well as work independently if required, in developing all marketing & digital communications materials, proposals, and presentations materials to represent the school. As a Communications Manager, he/she shall participate in working groups to plan, coordinate and execute events and publications to promote the institution; shall develop content for information brochures; review and edit drafts of correspondence, reports and brochures for mass distribution. A core role shall also be communication on the status of major initiatives for distribution to staff members, parents, prospects, the general public, volunteer/special interest support groups.   

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate shall have a Bachelor’s degree, with preferably, a relevant Master’s degree in communications and around 10 to 15 years relevant experience. He/she would possess the necessary interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups from culturally diverse publics. Candidate must be able to conduct daily activities with a high degree of independence, extreme urgency, sensitivity and confidentiality. Previous experience as a communications manager in an educational institution would be a strong advantage. All else being equal, knowledge of and fluency in Arabic would be preferred.
