Job Description

The selected candidate in this role will be responsible for the business development and financial

success of the specific specialized product groups on behalf of the company. This will involve

managing a portfolio of key corporate accounts providing a focal point for the business area to both

internal and external stakeholders, primarily the customers. Additionally, the role holder will identify and manage the development of new business key accounts in order to generate additional revenue for

the company. This would involve managing the budget for the growth of the business in terms of

volume, revenue and margin generation; develop and implement sales budgets and gross margin

targets; To monitor performance of agreed sales, tonnage and margin targets; To produce

timely reports on plans, customer visits and results; The role holder is also expected to assist the

commercial directors and the CEO in the development of budgets and the business plan and

present KPIs as required to the Additives Accounts Director. To liaise with other internal sales,

technical and logistics functions, to ensure that business development and change is properly

communicated and holds commercial and practical viability; To communicate market conditions and

competition and occurrences in the business area and to provide relevant market and competitive

feedback to Principals as required.

Candidate Profile

Ideally applicants should hold a degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 10 years’ corporate

sales experience. The last 3- 5 years should specifically be in lubricant additives sales experience

focusing on large oil companies and lubricant manufacturing companies in the GCC.
