Job Description

Working as an integral part of Global Institutional and Investment Banking Division of the bank, the selected candidate will ensure the implementation of the marketing strategy for the business. This is best achieved by enhancing the existing business relations and developing of new relations with clients, proposing transactions for each of the business groups – Debt Finance, Equity, Proprietary book, Funds and FIG and distributing and placing the bank’s equity, debt and fund offerings. . The selected candidate will build and establish strong relationships externally with local, regional and international corporate issuers in order to originate profitable deals – typically large and complex credit, equity, investment transactions and trade finance transactions. He will source build and establish strong relationships with Institutional investors such as Pension Funds, Sovereign Funds, Insurance Companies, Family Offices and other Asset Managers being local, regional and international banks and lenders. Additionally, he will plan and execute placement activities by prospecting for investors, reviewing investor history to identify sales opportunities, conducting presentations with existing and prospective investors, leading road shows, conferences and investor seminars and tracking investor meeting file notes to complete follow on actions required. Maintain a strong working knowledge of products and services provided by the bank’s investment banking, asset management and FIG business. Champion the bank’s brand and take responsibility for positioning of the bank in the respective market segments. Lead the development of a team which can effectively cross sell the products and services into the relationship network.

Candidate Profile

Post graduate qualification in Finance and or professional certification (ACCA / CFA) with minimum experience of 5 – 8 years in corporate & investment banking. Strong understanding of financial markets and in particular Equity, Debt and Capital market products. Ability to develop business with local, regional and international clients is critical. Email
