A manufacturing company based in the Abu Dhabi Industrial city requires an experienced resource in the role of HR & Admin Manager.

Job Description

This newly created role will lead the HR function and be responsible for all administration and PR matters pertaining to about 50 staff, besides having an oversight of IT and Purchase function.  The key  responsibilities would involve preparation of yearly HR & Admin budgets, maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions, recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; Preparing the employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs, Planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors in consultation with their Department Manager. Conducting investigations and representing the Company at hearings and other Government agencies if required. Additionally, ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource (federal and state) requirements.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should ideally be a graduate in HR or Administration (Master’s degree or CIPD would be advantageous) in the age group 35- 45 years with experience in assessment, monitoring and evaluation, training and facilitation of staff. Good contextual knowledge of local issues, organizational relationships, social and cultural constraints and realities, and environmental conditions.  Knowledge of Federal laws relating to employment. Should have Counselling and guidance skills and a strong potential for negotiation thereby eliminating the risk and damage of employment litigation. Ability to converse in Arabic is mandatory and hence only Arab nationals will be considered for this position. Email to
