Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations including but not limited to maintenance/upkeep of all the exhibits, maintenance/upkeep of the building, hygiene and cleanliness, safety and security of the guests, procurement, maintenance, liaising with and maintaining relationships with all relevant vendors and service providers, etc. On the busy days, the Operations Manager will lead by example and spend time on the floor interacting with guests, taking responsibility and accountability for being a positive interface between our client and their guests. Working with colleagues, the Operations Manager will seek to identify opportunities for improving the guest experience on a continuous basis.

Candidate Profile

College degree is required. Education in early childhood development will be a plus. Ideal candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with an ability to work with diverse staff and visitors, an excellent grasp of the English language (written & spoken) and Arabic shall be a plus.

Self-starter and self-motivated; thrives working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Lots of positive energy; respectful of diversity; patient and empathetic; friendly; Courteous. Excellent organization and execution skills – with strong attention to detail. Interest and enthusiasm for working with children and families. Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors. Adaptable to perform a variety of duties. The role is expected to be physically demanding and the candidate must have the physical and emotional capacity to deal with the role’s requirements.
