Job Description

A  leading retail company in the GCC is looking for a property/leasing manager for their UAE operations. In short he or she should have relevant experience of 6-8 years in managing property / lease portfolio in the ME market

Candidate Profile

Their ideal candidate should:

  • have conducted market research on properties in home territory as well as in current and new possible territories.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand financial budget, operate in company’s best interest in accordance with the Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Contract with mall management/landlords by negotiating leases, paying security deposits.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends.
  • Accomplishe financial objectives by paying rents; paying bills; forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Prepare annual budget projections for prospective territories, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all rents and late fees/cheque charges are paid, posted and deposited in a timely manner.
  • Secure property by contracting with security patrol service; installing and maintaining security devices; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies.
  • Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines.
  • Prepare and/or implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient workflow.
  • Ensure that all administrative paperwork is/are accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis.
  • Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
  • Accomplishe organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
